If I choose Avitus Recruiting Services, what can I expect? How much of the headaches that come with hiring are you really helping me avoid?
- Once you've decided that you have a position to fill, we take care of everything and just provide you a handful of candidates from which to choose.
- We create the advertising, place ads in the demographic markets, review all candidate submissions, and inquiries, confirm education and certification requirements are met, conduct all phone screens, perform reference checks, background checks, comprehensive criminal and credit checks, and present you with only the candidates that fit the specific criteria you've outlined for us.
We have never used a professional recruiter. Why should we change?
- If you are happy with your hiring results and don't mind the time it takes, you shouldn't. If however, you have not been satisfied, you may want to consider giving it a try. Particularly since Avitus Group has created our Recruiting department composed of industry professionals.
- Also consider the cost of turnover. When you use a professional recruiter you are much more likely to get the right person the first time. If it is a particularly difficult position to fill and you try finding the person on your own, you can end up with a revolving door of bad hires and wasted time and productivity.

How do I pay?
- MEMBER ADVANTAGE: If you're a member, we'll finance you over a series of pay periods.
- Non-members can enjoy the same financing when they join Avitus. Non-members may also pay in full just prior to the start date of your new hire.
Why did Avitus Group create a formal a Recruiting department? Why change?
- Avitus Group has determined that the business community has a need for these professional services. It was with the encouragement and overwhelming need of our current members that we chose to formally create this department.
- Our members began to need more help finding the right employees, so we simply saw an opportunity to strengthen our services and our members.

Can you define these categories you mentioned?
- A Category I worker is also known as a skilled labor worker. Category 1 workers generally do not have management duties. These are skilled workers who are involved in manufacturing, mining, building and construction trades, mechanical work, maintenance, repair and operations maintenance or technical installations.
- A Category II worker is an hourly or salaried professional with a specific education in their field or profession. These are semi-professional office, administrative, sales, tellers, customer service, entertainment, retail and outside sales people.
- A Category III worker is the executive level of worker. The lawyers, doctors, stock analysts, executives, GM's, and other highly skilled and highly educated professionals in a top tier management position.
How long does the process take? I need to fill the position quickly.
- Ideally, we want to hire for this role as soon as possible. But more importantly, we need to identify candidates with the necessary experience and skills so that they are successful in your needed role.
When I hire this employee, am I now responsible for their supervision?
- Yes, this person is your employee. You are responsible for all aspects of their employment. There is no contract term for this person; they are your responsibility to oversee.
What if it doesn't work out with the candidate I choose?
- You will ultimately be making the final determination and if we had to guarantee each hire the pricing would not be competitive.
- Remember, we will provide you a pool of candidates to choose from, the choice is yours to make.

What if I know someone who is perfect for the job, can I just hire them?
- Of course you can! But you would be defeating the purpose of using a professional recruiter. A better approach is to put this person along side of the other candidates that we provide you. You may end up choosing this person, but you will have the confidence that this person was indeed the right choice.
- Although you will still be responsible for paying for our recruiting efforts, It also gives you an opportunity to proceed with the background check process for this person and again add another assurance that this person is the perfect fit.
Do I have to pay for you to advertise for this position?
- You only have to pay, if we have to pay. There are several advertising resources out there which do not cost anything for us to publish job announcements. However, if we do publish an at cost job announcement, you will only be billed for the cost of that job announcement.
- Remember, we will only be publishing job announcements with your approval. We would never publish a job listing without receiving your acknowledgement first.
What happens if the ideal candidate I have in mind, doesn't accept the job? Do I still have to pay you for Recruiting?
- The short answer is yes; but it is important to know that during our recruiting process, we try very hard to determine a candidate's interest and salary information before presenting them to you. Although things can change, we try to limit the chance of that happening by being very thorough.
- In the end, if you have not found your ideal candidate within one year, we will release you of your contractual obligation to pay us for our services.
What happens if I hire this person and as an employee, they don't work out?
- Goodness, we certainly don't want that to happen. However, we will utilize our team of professionals to find you a handful of ideal candidates for this specific position. If the person you choose to hire is not the ideal employee we all thought they were, we can go back and review the other top candidates for that position in the hopes they may still be interested in the job.
- The good news is that since you are making the final hiring decision from a pool of qualified candidates, we are limiting the chances of that happening.
